What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a website remember information between requests — for example, to keep you signed in as you move between pages.

The cookies we use

Staff Rota & Payroll uses only essential, strictly-necessary cookies — set after you sign in, to deliver features you ask for:

  • rota_session — keeps you securely logged in for the duration of your session. Without it, the service cannot recognise that you are signed in.
  • activeBusiness — for multi-business accounts, remembers which business you are currently working in, so the right rota and timesheet load. It holds only a business identifier, is set when you switch business, and is never used for tracking or advertising.

Both are necessary for the service to function as you expect, so they are set once you sign in.

No third-party advertising cookies

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your browsing data. Our focus is on running your rota and payroll, not advertising.

Managing cookies

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that blocking the essential rota_session cookie will prevent you from logging in and using the service.
